Golfer's elbow treatment in Warsaw and Płock
The technical term for golfer's elbow is medial epicondylitis of the humerus. The condition manifests itself with painful sensations on the inner side of the elbow, sometimes radiating even to further areas of the arm. Although the pain may initially be very mild, it can lead to complete limitation of movement activities. Sometimes patients experience pain even at rest.
Golfer's elbow - causes
The most common cause of the condition is sports activities or professional work that excessively strain the elbow over a long period. Enthesopathy of the forearm flexor attachment, colloquially known as golfer's elbow, is caused by repetitive, frequently performed movements. Athletes are mainly exposed to medial epicondylitis of the humerus, but also office and administrative workers, or painters, for example.
